Kim Taylor had been a resident of Lake Caroline in Ruther Glen, Virginia for 16 years. She resides with her husband Adam and her 13 -year-old son Daniel. Daniel attends public school in Caroline
County, currently at the Caroline Middle School. Kim Taylor is employed by Nationwide Insurance as a Claims Specialist II Material Damage Mid-Atlantic Claims Zone and has worked for Nationwide for 9 years.

Kim Taylor embraced Caroline County as her home in 1999 and became involved volunteering in her Lake Caroline Community serving on numerous lake committees as a participant and later as committee chairpersons.

Kim became involved with the Lewis and Clark Elementary School PTA serving on committees and eventually as President of the PTA. She donated her time and expertise organizing fund raising for the school, Vendor Bingo, movie nights and numerous other PTA sponsored events to enhance children education.

Kim was instrumental in raising monies for the county-wide Caroline Little League Association. She gives her time and organizational skills to plan and implement Spirit nights at local restaurants and acquiring donations from many businesses in the county to increase participation and involvement in the Caroline Little League program.

Kim has volunteered with county-wide fundraising efforts for Renita Hill, Mathew Rose and Team Camryn, members of our community battling cancer. She provided support, encouragement as well as organizing several benefit events for them and their families.

She has helped and worked weekly Bingo games at many Moose Lodges.

Kim has served in many capacities at the Caroline County Moose Lodge on committees, organizing and planning children’s events such as Tailgate Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunts, and Santa Breakfasts. She helped organize and volunteered for the monthly Buster’s Breakfast which has become an on-going event for The Caroline Moose Lodge.

Kim is also a member of the Caroline Agricultural Fair and helps in any capacity needed.

Kim Taylor can always be counted on whenever a volunteer is needed for county events. She works
tirelessly to be involved in the county donating time and energy to make Caroline County a better place for us all to live.
