The Virginia Horse Festival returns to The Meadow Event Park, March 24-26, 2017. This premier event for horse owners, riders and enthusiasts offers three days of shopping, seminars, demos and clinics.
Special guest and international horseman and entertainer Guy McLean will showcase his skills on all three days. Let his demonstrations transport you to the Outback, and experience what it means to be a true Aussie stockman.
New This Year: To celebrate Secretariat’s birthday, Meadow Hall tours will showcase the Chenery Collection of rare Meadow Stable memorabilia. Attendees also will have the opportunity to meet members of Secretariat’s original team. A special showing of Disney’s feature film Secretariat will include commentary from team members, as well as from jockey Otto Thorwarth, who played Secretariat jockey Ron Turcotte in the film.
The festival also will welcome the state 4-H EquiSmartz competition for a third year.

Our annual Crab Feast is September 17 2016. The gates open at 4pm! We starting to serve crabs at 5 pm. Gates close at 9pm. We are currently looking looking for sponsors! State of the county address presented by the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce Thursday May 26th at 6:30 pm. This event will be held at the Caroline Community Center. Guest speakers are Mr.Jeff Sili Chairman of the Caroline County Board of Supervisors and Mr. Charles Culley Caroline County Administrator.Come out to hear the State of our county, where we are headed. Both Mr.Sili and Mr.Culley will answer questions and inform our citizens of Caroline’s progress and our projected future.
